Ovvio Oils Review

This is Melissa Styer, Founder and Editor of Wellness Appliances. As a part of my service to you, I evaluate different essential oil brands from Young Living to Rocky Mountain Oils to Edens Garden to bring you unbiased information on the best essential oil companies and highest quality products. This is my Ovvio essential oil review.

I spent a week and a half using the nine different essential oils listed here in a few different rooms of my house (using an ultrasonic diffuser and a nebulizer diffuser) and wow, did my house smell good!

Here is my evaluation of a few different core Ovvio essential oils.

A Bit About Ovvio Oils

Ovvio Oils is located in of Maple Valley, Washington, USA. They’ve been around about 30 years, and have a reputation for purity in their essential oils and high-quality blends. They offer a wide variety of organically grown aromatherapy blends. As they sell through retail, they do not have some of the concerns of multi-level marketing companies

Each Ovvio oil is bottled in highest quality non-retail packaging, using dark amber glass and come with a built-in dropper so there is no waste of the valuable oils. The dark amber glass helps to preserve the oil from sunlight and extend its shelf-life. (See more on essential oils storage best practices for more on this.)

I love how Ovvio Oils clearly and transparently label each of their oils with the scientific Latin name and common name of the plant used, as well as how to use each essential oil, and any cautions an oil may come with.

As I have had little trouble with this oil, I have nothing to note on customer service. As this is not a multi-level marketing company like DoTerra and Young Living, you may have to deal with the retailer.

Ovvio Oil Transparency

All the oils I tested were 100% certified organic essential oils and sourced transparently from farms with highest quality soil conditions around the world.

Transparency is a big theme that comes up again and again with Ovvio Oil, from their sourcing process, to their distillation, to their distribution.

Gift-wrapping is available on Amazon.com and Ovvio Oils, products, and gift sets come with a 100% risk-free, satisfaction guarantee.

A few Suggestion on how to use Ovvio Oils

From personal experience, I would absolutely trust using Ovvio Oils for any purpose or to address any specific need. A lot of oils claim to be Therapeutic Grade, meaning they have a level of purity acceptable for medicinal, or healing use. Ovvio Oils is in this category as their oils are some of the highest quality produced.

A few ways I might recommend using Ovvio Oils are:

In a Diffuser: put 5 to 10 drops into your unit to inhale and enjoy fragrance at the same time. Check labels for the recommended amount to use.

Massage Therapy: Mix with carrier oils such as avocado, coconut, almond, sesame, and other favorites for a pleasant relaxing and soothing massage.

Bathing: add a few drops into your bathwater for an aromatherapy and pleasant fragrance while relaxing.

The Bottom Line

I’ll summarize this Ovvio essential oil review by saying that I would absolutely recommend Ovvio Oils to new essential oils users, and people who are well familiar with essential oils. They offer high quality, pure essential oils and proprietary blends compared to any other essential oil companies and are suitable for any use you would want. The only downside is that they can be pricey – but with essential oils, any increase in price is usually reflected with a real increase in quality. They are not a multi-level marketing company, and, unlike with multi-level marketing companies, you know you’re paying for the oil, not the commissions.

Ovvio has a wide variety of organic essential oils not listed here. In addition to their proprietary blends, they offer standalone pure lavender essential oil, tea tree oil, and more comparable to competitors like Plant Therapy and Eden’s Garden. When you buy essential oils, take extra time to ensure they are pure plant derivatives grown in highest quality soil conditions that are often absent in industrial oils. Take a look at our other essential oil reviews and our brand comparison before making a decision.

I have just begun using Ovvio Oils within the last week. I started with Inhale because of allergies. WOW! So far, this has been the best essential oil I’ve tried for helping me to breath again with no headache nor sneezing!! It’s been AMAZING. I just ordered three more different oils to try them out.
I also called the company with a question and wound up talking to the owner. NICEST man to talk with and ask questions! They get an A+ (10 out of 10) from me! I HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!!
